Uni applications = DONE!!

Yupp! As of 0500 hours this morning, my university applications for both NUS and NTU have come to completion! After submission of my application for both universities and the payment for the application recently, I was left with the submission of supporting documents only. I just finished with the submission of the supporting documents, which are really referral letters from my teachers, this morning.
So why did I submit my application so late in the night ( or early in the morning you can say...)? Well, I only started work on the 'discretionary' application, as it is called, late in the night at around 1.00am thinking that it would be a simple job of filling in some details as usual and simply attaching the referral letters from the teachers to the submission. Little did I know that an essay had to be accompanied with the discretionary application lols! So I had finished filling up all the other details required when the essay portion popped up at the last section. At that point in time, I seriously had thoughts of giving up the discretionary application altogether. I was just sooo tired. It was 1.00am in the night mind! I was already all relaxed and ready to go to sleep. Now I still had to rack my brains to come up with a random essay and it had to have quality?!!
It was then that I thought of the effort my teachers had put in to rush these referral letteres for me that I decided to just do my best for this last bit of the whole application process. I thus decided to rush something out with whatever brain cells that were still awake. So I got the two essays done, which I thought were pretty okay though I'm sure it is still quite lacking for the universities' standards. The length wasn't even very long lols. I had heard that these essays for university applications should be of about 1000 words? Lolz... I was too tired to consider so much lol. I could only think of sleep. So I just got it done and went to bed. Leave the decision making to the guys from NUS and NTU who will be looking through these stuff.
Well, all in all, I'm just glad this long journey of getting information from teachers, getting help from family and the school and filling up forms and attending open houses has come to an end for now. Univeristy applications are DONE!!
Thus, I only went to sleep after 5.00am after I was done and only had slightly more than an hour of sleep. Yawnzz....! It has been one long process.
