While doing our On Job Training, me and my friends got to know a guy, Jensen, who invited us to attend a talk. Therefore, we met at Bras Basah at 3pm as agreed.
As I didn't enquire much about the talk, I thus didn't read up about it beforehand. It was only when I arrived at the venue that I got to know the talk was about some sort of home- based business called WorldVentures where one gets to earn quick money simply by travelling overseas on holidays and getting their friends to sign up for it. Well, it does sound like an interesting concept to me but I found it quite dubious as I could not see what was in it for whoever came up with such a business concept. Therefore, I decided to read up a little more about it before considering putting my name down.
We didn't stay long after the talk ended as the few of us didn't intend to sign up for it. We then decided to have chicken rice for dinner at an eatery nearby. What with being busy with NS all this while, I sure have not been eating out for quite some time. Moreover, I hadn't eaten chicken rice in a long time.
It sure was a good meal.
